What to Pack for England in November

What to Pack for England in November

I spent 10 days in England in November 2024 visiting some friends I made while travelling. My trip was more focused on socializing than sightseeing and exploring but I did my fair share of that as well. I was going for fashion and comfort so swap whatever makes sense for your trip and style.

Tops

Sweaters – you will live in sweaters the whole time as there is always a chill in the air, I mean what’s better and easier than throwing on a sweater at this time of year?

Basic T-shirts – for layering or lounging

Blouse – for dinners and nights out

Bottoms

Jeans – a staple

Skirt – super cute to wear with tights and wear with flats or boots

Dress – can skip but a nice option if it packs small

Trousers – I brought striped poplin pants for comfort but a tailored trousers would also be a good choice

Outerwear

Trench Coat – a good trench is fashionable and practical, and you’ll feel like a local

Wool Coat – for the cooler times and dressing up outfits

Flats or Loafers – Nice for day or night, can wear with socks or tights if it’s chilly

Tall Boots – flat boots will be easier to wear for longer but the heeled ones are fab

Sneakers – kind of crazy but I did not bring any! However, if you’re doing more sightseeing and plan on walking long distances it’s a good idea to bring some

Scarf &/or Beanie – I also didn’t pack this but again, not a bad idea
